The other Lava Grill

The owners also have another Lava Grill on Mr Chicken St, the next block along from Garden of Eden heading towards town next to the waste ground. It too is excellent and my friends and I generally make it our first stop on a Saturday after watching the footie!

Lava Grill

At lunch time Lava grill is frequented by office workers, as the name suggests the menu is souvlaki orientated, and looked full last Friday when we passed at 20:00.

The portions are enormous, we certainly needed doggie bags, there were eight pieces of sheftalies in one portion.

Food is basic, and of good quality, and certainly value for money at less than £7 per head with drinks.

Handy location if you use Butcher Boy at it is opposite.

Definitely worth a visit, but go on an empty stomach.
