Directions

Take the 'Polis road' from Paphos, towards the top of the mountain you will see the turning to Tsada & Kallepia (which is on your right hand side) just by KLIMAKAS Kiosk. Take this turning and follow the road through Tsada's village roads. Towards the centre of the village you will come across a red bricked road hump. Carry straight on and do not take any turnings as you need to head towards Kallepia, which is the neighboring village to Tsada! Keep an eye out for G&T's Monastiroui on the Hill's black and white road signs which lead you to the restaurant's beautiful location right in the centre of Kallepia village. In case you are in doubt a good landmark is St. Georgios church, located just below G&T's restaurant.

Additional Facilities

For disabled people : Full Disabled Facilities we even have our own wheel chair, no ramps as there is a disabled car park at the rear on the building

Good lunch

Stopped by here for a light lunch after a morning tasting wines at the nearby (excellent) Tsangerides winery as we needed to soak some of it up!

We had never been to G & T's before but were aware of its previous location - this one's much better. Gary was friendly and chatty which I like from an owner, and was soon serving us a bottle of chilled white wine, beer and water together with two portions of poppadums with lime pickle etc. We followed that with the Beef Rendang x 2 and two cheese omelettes with chips - all of which were good and excellent value

The menus (day time and evening) were fairly basic but homely and we will certainly go there for lunch again and quite probably dinner. Turn up on a Thursday morning and you can even play boule in the sandy car park next to the monastery opposite. The view from the 'lookout' is great and we loved the lack of any pretentiousness about the whole place.

It is also disabled friendly which we will remember next summer when we next have one of our a grandchildren staying with us.

a lovely find

This is in a lovely setting including chapel with monks skull!!! At first we thought it a snack bar as the menu has a lot of things like toasties and filled baked spuds but there are some main courses including curries and cottage pie We then found another menu which were a nice selection of starters and mains as a set menu for E23 a little extra for the steaks. We all plumped for curries most of us had curried samosas and papadoms to start Paul had garlic mushrooms (a big portion lots of garlic)
We all had curries beef rending chcken curry and the Thai green curry The rending was lovely could have had more of a kick for me, the chicken curry was a bit bland and the Thai curry was very nice.
There was an interesting wine list with wines we'd never heard of. Gary and Tracy were very good mine hosts and we will go back We will probably try the Sunday lunch which you need to book for
