Sorry, it was a let down
visited with a group of seven, chose the elephant because it was the quietest on the strip. Should have read the clue. Service was very slow even though the restaurant was not so busy, most were having a meze, however we just wanted a main and maybe a dessert. Drinks order seem to take ages, quickly followed by the food order. Drinks arrived in a timely manner however, there was an unacceptable wait for food which consisted of two steaks, two moussakka, and 3 chicken al a crème. We ordered more drinks however had to change the beer due to chosen one being too warm! When the food arrived it was unremarkable, very small portions and came out in stages, we did ask when we were going to be served. At this point we just wanted to eat and go. Seems like the staff were over worked for the size of the venue. Final point having paid the bill we did have to ask for the change. Overall Disappointed.

Will go again
Ate here on 14 Aug. Became busy towards end of meal as two very large parties arrived. Service friendly, pleasant surroundings, good menu and food well cooked and presented - swordfish ver good and pork fillet in a mustard sauce which was satisfying and not at all overpowering. Entertainment from a duo on whom Vic reeves probably based his club singer sketches but was enjoyable. Due to numbers there was a mix up on bill between our table and another but this was dealt with speedily and in a friendly trusting manner. Good food, friendly efficient service will go again.

Very Chic & Great choice / quality of Food
Always come here with family and visiting friends at least a couple of times each trip. Amazing choice of varied cuisine, which can sometimes effect the quality coming out of the kitchen. However, the kitchen and front of house is well staffed and attentive, thus can cope with varying orders. Every meal we've had has been exceptional and I'm being urged by a vegetarian work colleague to mention it also has some lovely vegetarian dishes. If you go to one restaurant in Coral Bay go here.

not bad at all
Took potatoe wedges (from frozen) with a sour cream as a joint starter which was nice but easily available. My main (Fresh Steak Diane) was cooked to my perfection and was good a tasty cut. My partner had "Aphrodite Duck" which was excellent - sliced duck served with sweet sauce. Served alongside this was uninspiring and un-garnished boiled veg and from frozen chips. From sweets we had Cheesecake and a Creme Brulee - both very good, however the Blueberry Cheesecake was served with a raspberry syrup/sauce which didn't seem right.
Service was attentive and no problems, even when the place filled (yes! filled in the middle of November - a good sign surely) we were dealt with promptly.
Sea Elephant became very loud once a large 20 strong party sat next to us, prior to that was some background chatter which is how i would assume it "normally" is. Decor is tidy and modern.
Bill for two light drinkers was CY34 which i think is pretty reasonable value considering the quality of the main parts of the meal.
Elephant
I went to Elephant for the first time with my mum and sister in August. Great choice for our girly night out ! The food was fantastic - the portions were huge, but we insisted on having a three course meal so we did our best but could quite easily have fed another two people with our leftovers. The waiters were very attentive and made conversation. Not the cheapest place to eat, but the size of the portions compensates for that. Restaurant is nicely decked out both inside and out - modern, trendy and suits all types of customer.
