Its easy to miss

Its easy to miss this; it just looks like any common or garden bar. But that's at the front and gives a plentiful range of bar snacks during the day. But at night the restaurant comes to life.

Seek it out and enjoy.

Great casual place to dine

Nice varied menu with a great 'set menu' as well. The fresh fish is fantastic although most good restuarants in Paphos could lay claim to that.
Cocktail bar is great for pre dinner drinks, and the selection of local wines with your meal is very good. Very friendly owner & staff, great outdoor setting and indoors aswell as we found when we were there in March 2010. Lot of people come back time after time, year after year so the Atrion must be doing something right.

Average tourist place

What Atrion had going for it most of all was that it was only a couple of minutes from where we were staying at Limnaria Gardens - so perfect for dinner on the first night of the holiday, before we got ourselves properly sorted.

A pleasure to have dinner outside after the miserable British summer. Food here is “international” - a fairly wide range of generally unchallenging dishes. Perfect for that night - we didn`t watn challenging. Didn`t even need good food. Just needed dinner.

A village salad was a light starter - perky cucumber, a twang of capers, saltiness from the feta, along with the lettuce, cabbage, pepper and onion. The other starter - prawn cocktail - was also fine as a dish firmly reminding us of the Berni Inns of 1980.

Grilled sea bass was one main - the whole fish served butterflied. Came with salad & chips. The other main was sirloin steak, chips and veg. The steak cooked to the requested medium rare and with a reasonably good char to the outside. I made short work of it.

If there is to be a criticism, then it is about service. Even allowing for a relaxed Mediterranean pace, this was not sharp - with a long wait before orders were taken and another far too long delay in drinks arriving.

Cost including two beers and water was €50.

Fantastic Food and service

We have been going to the Atrion for the last 6 or 7 years, each time we have visited Paphos. We dine there at least 3 times during a weeks visit and last September dined there 6 times in a 10 day visit. The food is great and there is plenty of choice. However, what makes it so special for us is the outstanding service by all the staff, nothing is too much trouble and we are always greeted like old friends.
We are returning to Paphos in April and it goes without saying that we will dine at the Atrion several times!! Can't wait.

I really can't think of anything bad to say about the place or its staff

Atrion

Sometimes in the tourist area there are little gems still, and this restaurant is one of them. On the evening we were there it was extremely busy and there didn't seem to be that many staff, so we assumed that service was going to be bad. How wrong we were. Service was superb. As with most tourist restaurants, they had the set menu, which had a good choice, but we opted for A la carte. The other half had a french onion soup to start and I had dolmades in a tomato sauce. For mains, I had chichen in a mustard and tarragon cream sauce and he had a garlic fillet steak which he said was cooked to perfection. Meals came with 'proper' vegetables, not rice, chips and salad. Good selection of home made desserts. Everything was beautifully presented and it was large portions. Not the cheapest place, but we felt that it was worth it. For 3 courses for 2 of us, 2 glasses of wine, large beer, bottle of water and coffees, the bill came to about CYP35.00. But if on a budget set menu was 8.95
