Just fab!

Been here a few time's now, the fist time was great the 2nd time they had problems with their chef, and to be honest the owner wasn't experienced enough to handle the situation, but he got though it! We were told that he had all new chef's so went back, food was out standing, the atmosphere was lovely the singer that they had in was very good, to me the whole place just has a cozy feel about it, especially now the winter evenings are here, the owner think his name is Stefan has worked very hard at giving fantastic value for money! Good luck to him in his new venture.

UNBELIEVABLY GOOD VALUE!

I'd been told about The Classic a few months back, but I still found it a breath of fresh air! It's so rare these days to find DECENT food for those on a tight budget, but The Classic pulls it off! King Prawns for under €8, Gammon or Moussaka for under €7... a couple can eat for very little! Drinks prices are as cheap as a local taverna, and the sweets are fantastic! There's even a three-course-special which includes (albeit a rather small) fillet steak! Budget constraints mean we don't eat out much, but with The Classic, I'm genuinely looking for an excuse to go back soon!

not the best place to eat in paphos

I attended this restaurant with 8 other friends. Once seated we waited at least 15 minutes before we were asked what to drink. Once we gave our order for food, we waited over an hour for our starters. The boss came over and said did you enjoy your starter, only to be told we had not received them as yet. When the mains came the order for some were wrong, so by the time my friend got her main all the veg were cold. They were apologetic. I think the waiter got the order wrong because the music was far too loud. I dine out most nights but this is the worst service I have encountered. The chef did ask on our departure if everything was okay and I explained the long wait and the mix up and he said well this is not McDonalds. I found this to be very rude and offensive. I will never go there again and will certainly not recommend it to anyone else.

The Classic

Having been reccommended to try this restaurant we did but unfortunately we must have chosen a bad night. We went on a Saturday night and the restaurant was fairly busy. The prices were very reasonable but I guess you get what you pay for and I was disappointed. My starter of mussels was delicious and so was the home made applecake for desert but my main meal of kleftico was the worst I have every had(beleive me I have had many)just bone & fat very little in the way of meat. When the very pleasant lady enquired if everything was ok with our meal I mentioned the lamb and she apologised and said she would speak to the chef but we never heard anything back. To be fair my partner did enjoy his meal though, until we got the bill and found we had been charged for 4 carafes of wine (we only had 1)I am sure it was a genuine error but should not have happened, the waiter apolopised and said till is playing up tonight! I thought they might have offered small discount off the bill by way of apology but they did not.
I would not go again as les Amis is similar price and kleftico is delicious also gave us complimentry coffe & liquors.

A refreshing change!

Finally made it here last night!

Stefan the host/partner is very welcoming and the staff gave us plenty of time to read the menu etc. The atmosphere is warm and it was nice to see a restaurant busy!

The choice is varied and there'll be something for everyone including the kids!

We decided to have bruschetta followed by steak. The bruschetta was light and fresh, the steaks cooked to absolute perfection and very tender.
I chose pepper sauce with mine, and Chris had a tarragon/cream one. Both were delicious and served with fresh veg and HOMEMADE CHIPS!

We were too full for a dessert but there was a choice of pancakes, apple pie and others from what I remember.

The cost of the meal including our ubiquitous bottle of Ayios Onofrious was €45 and well worth it.

There was live music too last night, not sure if it's on every night though.
