We used this place many times when at Venus beach and again when we moved over, ideal for a lunch and occasionally in the evening as no booking required, staff then were very good, however the change is not for the better, everything is more expensive and wine list prices are over the top for what is really a small Taverna.I would have thought prices would be more competative especially as there is plenty competition right beside them.Maybe if they read this things will improve, we will not hurry back.

Any of you who have read our reviews will know that we are objective and honest. The food was ok but not worth the 19 or so euros each, the last dish of red snapper was bland and obviously frozen. As the evening went on a (good) greek buzuki band struck up and the staff started bringing ash trays out to the tables (inside) even the band were smoking on the stage.

Despite asking for a wine list (twice) we ended up ordering random and blind, all three bottles were obviously dredged from the back of the fridge, one had to be sent back and the others should have, but it would have been even more embarassing. When we got the final bill we were charged an astronomical 18.50 euros for each bottle of cheap wine.

Don't bother, overated and should be shut down due to total ignorance regarding smoking laws.

We tried the set menus ...very little and not that tasty...you pay a lot of money for something not very good ....will not be going back..this was probably one of the worst meals i have had in cypruss and i have been coming here for a lot of years

Ideal for a full meal or just a glass of wine and a snack.

Nothing too much trouble for the owner and he made us feel very welcome

Frequented by a number oy Cypriot professional people which is always a good sign

Tried the meze here as part of a large group and was very pleasantly surprised with both the quality and quantity. We were advised right from the start that if we wanted anything more of anything to just ask, so there was no chance of anyone going away hungry!

Very traditional dishes and all were freshly prepared and used good quality ingredients.

Service was very efficient and friendly, and nothing was too much to ask for.

Will definitely be returning in the future.
