Haven't had fish and chips for a while and really fancied it today.

Popped down to Sainta Marina and had a seat outside. I had the set meal of cod and chips, but instead of mushy peas I had tartare sauce. The set meal included two slices of bread with butter, plus tea or coffee.

Hubby had a steak and kidney pie dinner, which came with mushy peas and a big plate of chips. Large Keo is €2.65

On ordering we were informed it would take about 25 mins, but it was well worth the wait. Excellent food and will definitely be going back again.

Like the majority of reviews I agree that it does what it says on the tin.
Portions are very large. Bear this in mind when oredering, especially for kids. I ordered 3 cod & chips and received 6 English sized pieces (presumably as they thought one piece wasn't big enough to warrant being classed as a portion!). Quality was as good as any British Chippy. Would recommend as a good cheap option for a night in.

We went here for a late lunch and was very much surprised.

I ordered a fish platter for €11 approx and my Husband ordered a reg (as advised by waiter) fish chips and peas (inc drink) for €9 approx. When they brought out the order we were amazed at how big they were.. it was a very large plate and my husbands fish filled the width of it with plenty of chips and bread & butter too!

Mine came with scampi, crab claws, fish fingers, 3 peices of hoki battered, calamari ( which i asked them to swap for onion rings and they were happy to oblige!) a large plate of chips i may have missed off something but as you can imagine they are huge quantities.

We were very happy with the food and we would go back again but its not somewhere we would go at night for a nice romantic meal. This is a chippy and a very good one.

I would reccommend and if we go back to the area we would eat there again.

Having fish and chips in cyprus is something of a novelty and, as I only know of one other local chip shop, we tried this one because of the location (we ate at coral bay beach). I thought the cod was well cooked and not too greasy. The chips were tasty and the greek salad contained the nicest feta I had during the holiday. My husband forgot to ask for condiments so it would have been much better with some salt & vinegar and tartare sauce. The food/service was just what I'd expect from a chip shop and I'd certainly go back there again for take-away.

We had some take away, the fish and chips were good but my father was not impressed with the calamari. It had a strange taste and needed lemon.
Good selection of fish but need to remember to ask for salt & vinegar as the food is otherwise a bit bland. No 'cutlery' included with the greek salad, which although delicious, was hard to eat with fingers on the beach. Overall, great for take aways on the beach.
