A very nice evening!

Went last night (second ever visit!) and shared piping hot crispy bruschetta with my bf, then I had lovely ricotta and spinach cannelloni with a small salad while he had tagliatelle with veal strips in a very nice but rich sauce.

Total price including the quintessential Ayios Onoufrios and a large water was €45.60 - the place was full (both tourists and locals) which confirms my belief that it's offering some of the best Italian food in Paphos!

Best Point ? The food!
Worst Point ? Was a bit chilly even though restaurant was full!

Takes forever

We ate here first a few years ago when the owners (who I believe have a much better run sister restaurant on Paphos sea front) took this large plot on Coral Bay strip and opened.

We live in Coral Bay and Italian is about our favorite, so do we use it ? NO !!!

When it opened we were warned the service and waiting time was bad but we decided to try it for ourselves, first course took an hour, we did not stay for desserts and were still seated for 3 hours. The food was nothing special and definately not in the league of Sienna and Zaffron.

We tried again just a few weeks ago and nothing has changed, when we didn't get a drink within 30 minutes we left. You would really think in the current climate these places would want your money, anyone who rates this place must live (and eat) on a different planet. Sorry, the truth.

We also sat opposite one night eating an enjoyable and tasty meal on the Tex Mex balcony (service also not great but food does make up for it), we timed roughly how long it took a party of 6 to be served, just the same, no drinks for an age, no starters for an hour.

Shame, when will someone open a top restaurant in Coral Bay so we don't have to drive to Pegia / Paphos, Coral Bay is supposedly the most affluent community in the area, so where are the restaurants to match ? ! ?

Best Point ? large outdoor seating area
Worst Point ? everything else !

A Must if you like Italian

We visit this place on a regular basis and have always found it excellent all round.

Good menu selction, service is first class although if very busy it may take longer to be attended to, however worth being patient.

More expensive than other Italians in the area, not by much

Anyway why rush a good meal

Best Point ? VG FOOD
Worst Point ? ON EXPENSIVE SIDE

Excellent (and large) Italian meals

We've been here twice in our current visit (and a couple of times before, which tells you something.... ). So let's just focus on the last 2 visits.

The first one started off badly. We arrived and it was very busy (always a good sign). We were shown to a table and given the menu... and then forgotten for 20 minutes.... I must be honest and say I was annoyed by now and let our waiter know (who was also annoyed as he was very busy).

We got our drinks and ordered the meal....

The starter arrived (Carpaccio) and was large and very good. Then the main course arrived. My Lamb Fillets were simply excellent - fillets of lamb cooked to perfection and all meat (not the lamb chops we're all more used to). My wife's Risotto was also excellent - albeit too large to finish.

We came back here a few days later after an unsuccessful attempt to go for a Japanese meal in Coral Bay (Samisen and Wabi Sabi - more details when this website allows reviews of these 2 restaurants).

This time the restaurant was completely packed but the waiter accommodated us and fitted us in. My Rib Eye steak was cooked to perfection (just as good as Andria restaurant...) and my wife's Escalope of Veal was also excellent.

We went on to sweets (Profiteroles and Cheesecake) - also large, home-cooked and excellent.

On these 2 vists the front office staff were extremely busy but still managed to provide good service.

Summary
- Price - Euro 80-100 a couple
- Food - excellent
- Quantity - large
- Service - excellent but remember they're VERY busy (a lesson I've learnt...)
- Location - on the main Coral Bay "drag"

Downsides
- not cheap but you pay for quality like this......

Best Point ? Excellent Fiid
Worst Point ? Very busy....

Great Italian Food, but slightly expensive

Very nice restaurant for a romantic or special occasion. The food & service were excellent, however in comparison to other restaurants nearby the prices were substantially higher and portions not that big. Could be an expensive evening if going with a large family/party.

Best Point ? Authentic Italian Food
Worst Point ? Quite expensive
